Applications
Installation position: At both sides of valves, equipment interfaces, pipeline maintenance sections, road crossings and structure inlets or outlets.
Purpose: Provides a detachable rigid connection between pipes, valves and equipment.
Problem solved: Supports maintenance, valve replacement and sectional dismantling, while enabling rapid connection where welding is impractical.
Selection and procurement checks
Flange connections require matching nominal size, pressure class, facing and bolt-hole dimensions. For valves or equipment, confirm the mating flange, gasket and fasteners together. Ordering by pipe diameter alone does not establish interface compatibility.

- Flange type, nominal size and pressure class
- Facing, bore and bolt-hole drawing
- Material grade and matching gasket and fastener requirements

Quality and inspection documents
Please state whether the order requires a Mill Test Certificate (MTC/MTR), an EN 10204 type 3.1 inspection certificate, heat or batch traceability, or other inspection records. The document type, applicable material and availability must be confirmed for the specific order. EN 10204 type 3.2 involves additional independent inspection requirements and must be agreed separately before supply.
